The responsible breeders of Pyrenean Shepherds in the United States and Canada, try hard to make sure that dogs that they have produced do not end up in rescue shelters.
- If you are no longer able to provide a home for your Pyr Shep, your breeder should be your first contact.
- If you have an imported dog, or are not able to locate your breeder, please DO NOT place your dog in a rescue shelter. Please contact our Rescue Committee, and we will make every attempt to help.
- If you are looking for a Pyrenean Shepherd to adopt that may need a new home, please contact our Rescue Committee.
You can contact our Rescue Committee through the CONTACT FORM page.
Please be aware that at this time we do not have any dogs available in rescue. If you are looking for a dog, please visit our Find a Pyr Shep pages, including the PSCA Breeder page for more information.
In the event that you need to re-home your Pyrenean Shepherd, please refer to the documents below for more information.
